Beautiful Marimba Solo.  Time to slow down.  Turn the lights off.  Turn the screen over.  Take a second and maybe take a nap.

Not before diving into this work a little bit.  Enjoying the automatic right hand repeating quarter notes while the left hand gladly takes the melodic moving parts.  “Wow, I never get to play melody!  Yay!”  says the left hand.

This open theme is stated with variations each time, giving any player an amount of variety for technical development and enjoyment.  At the same time, the listener will hear a theme and possibly be humming it on their way out of the recital hall.
