Dedication – for solo marimba

It is a summer day and there is a perfect wind behind us; where there is nothing to stop us. Life is really great and full of the simple, yet such enjoyable things that make us happy. This reminder of the good in this world helps us persevere through the dark times. Dark? What? Yes, when everything is going very well, there may be sections of life where we will have to push through hard times. Keep solid ground and watch every step through sometimes ragged terrain and we will prevail. Right when we think things couldn’t get worse or would stay dark forever, the sun suddenly comes out and we are in the perfect summer day once again. Nothing can stop us! Simple enjoyable things make us happy! Thank you for these things and for our ability to get through the dark, with perseverance and dedication.
