C9 Reflections (for solo vibraphone)

One of my favorite chords is a Cadd9.  Such an ethereal sound when you have that addition to the chord.  In this work, you get to explore the shapes involving C9 and more!

First, the player has to arpeggiate up the instrument ending at the top to let it ring.  At times, the player will dampen certain notes after hitting them, to selectively tell our ear to hear what emerges… (what is still ringing)

Use this song for vibraphone to learn and to relax.  The challenge is not to play fast notes, but to enjoy the time spent with each note you play.
