The Questo Collection – for percussion ensemble

Description

The Questo Collection is a percussion quintet with straight forward rock and latin grooves and memorable melodies, while having a heavy hint at classical and experimental music with a middle movement driven by rubato and aleatoric writing techniques. Commissioned by The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Mostly Percussion Ensemble, this work is great for a collegiate group of players, while the piece has also been performed by high school groups.
